Here is our weekend schedule. Events in🔴RED are 84-sponsored and though the ticketed events are sold out - the venues are open to the public - so come and hang out.
Events in 🟤BROWN are sponsored by the University and tickets🎫 must be purchased through Reunion registration HERE and may also be purchased at the door.

Presenting🎸Lez Zeppelin, founded by🐻Alum Steph Paynes '82, at our indoor/outdoor BBQ at Narragansett Brewery. Lez Zeppelin (All Girls All Zeppelin) reviewed as "the most powerful all-female band in rock history" has received acclaim from none other than Jimmy Page. High Energy, High Fun. Tickets are sold out, but the venue is open to the public, so come and hang out.
While tickets to the event are sold out - you are absolutely welcome to come hang out. The restaurant is open to the public. Food and drinks are available for purchase and there is a nice patio and bar for party spillover. So drop by and say hi... come early... stay late... ⏰whatever works.

Chris Brancato '84 is best known as the co-creator and writer of “Narcos," “Godfather of Harlem” and the upcoming "Hotel Cocaine."
In 2015, Brancato achieved widespread acclaim and recognition for his work as the co-creator and showrunner of the hit series, “Narcos.” The groundbreaking drama, chronicled the rise and fall of notorious drug kingpin Pablo Escobar. “Narcos” became a global phenomenon and continues to be hailed as one of the greatest crime dramas of all time.
Chris was nominated for a Writers Guild Award for Episodic Drama for “Godfather of Harlem” (with Michael Panes '86), has received a Peabody for “Boomtown,” two Saturn Awards for “Hannibal,” and his series have received many Emmy, Bafta, WGA, NAACP and Golden Globe nominations. In March 2024, Time Magazine included both “Narcos” and “Godfather of Harlem” in their list of the "best gangster stories of all time..."
Brancato's feature film credits include the screenplay for HOODLUM, starring Laurence Fishburne as Bumpy Johnson and Tim Roth as Dutch Schultz; sci-fi horror film SPECIES II, starring Michael Madsen and Natasha Henstridge, and as screenwriter for a third SHERLOCK HOLMES film.
Chris served as President of the Writers Guild Foundation from 2006-11, and is in development on a 2nd season of “Hotel Cocaine,” a 4th season of “Godfather of Harlem,” and a new series called “The Westies,” based on the brutal NYC Irish-American organized crime gang of the '70s and '80s.

Join the Brown Bookstore for a talk with editor Lauren Zalaznick ’84 about her new book, LETTERS from the Corporation of Brown University: Lives of Usefulness and Reputation 1764 – 2023. Zalaznick will be in conversation with Trustee Emerita Nancy L. Buc ’65, LLD’94 hon.
Made public for the first time, it's the history of the Brown Corporation told through the letters of resignation the trustees and fellows, from the school's founding through 2023. This collection of letters tells a story of progress, passion, and problem solving in American higher education from a never-before-seen perspective. Lauren Zalaznick has devoted her career in media to transforming the cultural landscape. Zalaznick has received many honors for her achievements, including two Peabody Awards and numerous Emmy Awards. TIME magazine named her one of the “TIME 100: World’s Most Influential People” and she was the subject of a New York Times Magazine cover story. Zalaznick’s interviews have been archived at the Television Academy Foundation and The Smithsonian. Her TED talk, “The Conscience of Television,” has been viewed and shared close to a million times. Zalaznick graduated with a degree in English from Brown University in 1984, magna cum laude and Phi Beta Kappa, and is a trustee emerita of the University. She currently lives and works in New York City.
